Tramabitter

"I could really do with taking a tramadol..."

Those famous last words came back to bite me in the eyeballs last night. My back and various other limbs were being intensely unhappy so I gave in and wolfed down some painkillers. Tramadol, you know, the only painkiller that really works for me? The lovely trusted drug that works nothing but wonders? Well, it fell from grace quite considerably last night when I woke up at 2:30 AM with what felt like a garlic crusher attacking my head. Perhaps I'm a little dehydrated I thought. So off I wandered to the bathroom, only to discover that my legs were no longer under the control of my brain and that the bathroom seems a lot further away when you're walking sideways. Then to top it off I looked in the mirror and a puffa fish was staring back, my eyes looked like angry bread cobs. I was not well. Not well at all. And tramadol was quickly becoming the most likely suspect... I haven't had one in a while and I hadn't done anything else dodgy that I don't normally do and PLEASE DON'T LET ME BE ALLERGIC TO THE ONLY THING THAT STOPS MY BONE MARROW FACTORY FROM HURTING. Anyway, I went back to bed but didn't get a wink of sleep because I was being sent a bit insane by wide-awake-dreams and sore eyes. Luckily by the time I got up to go to work my eyes looked a bit less creepy so I covered them in make up and plodded on out into the world. Without moving my head. At all.

Although saying all that it might not have been the tramadol. It could have been any of my other five million drugs I ingest on a regular basis. Or it could be another one of my organs breaking? I'm not sure what organ connects legs, eyes and brains but if any of you know then please spill! Or maybe I'm allergic to Wednesdays? I like Wednesdays.

But yeah, I still felt incredibly poorly today, especially in the morning. So poorly that I couldn't eat breakfast! I did manage a mid morning snack though. I also stabbed myself in the arm quite badly with some tweezers. Which at least woke me up a bit after getting approx 4 hours sleep.

I also keep getting blood bogies which I've only ever had when I was in isolation in hospital. I'm not quite sure why blood bogies unnerve me so... Perhaps it's because they remind me of a time when I was actually very close to dying as opposed to just being a bit faulty. Mehrg. The deep dark mysteries of my ribena blood.

You'll be pleased to know that I don't feel too bad now though. I just want to bloody know what made me and my ker-azee body have a fit of the illy so I can make a mental note to not do it again. I'll just eat some more party rings. They contain all of the important things to help your body fight off EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE DISEASES EVER A WASSSAAA WEEEEEEELDDDD PROOOOOO!!!!.... yeah... that's too many party rings...

  1. crikey that is a bit weird isn't it...I hope you have a better night tonight. Can you just become randomly allergic to a medication though? Maybe it was something else you ate or hay fever? Can you get hay fever at night? I dunno, I'm not very good at this diagnosis malarkey. Anyway hope things have settled down!

  2. Oh no! I have everything crossed that it was just a coincidence and you've not developed a tramadol allergy. Hopefully it was just a weird thing and won't happen again.
