Oh, I need to have a little moan, a little quibble, I do apologise. Since the transplant and GVH rashes I have had the dryest skin on my face (especially my cheeks) and it does drive me a little bonkers sometimes. Today is one of those days where no matter how much I tell my cheeks how lovely they are and no matter how much tender loving care I give them, they still come out in droves of sandpaperiness. It is getting slightly better over time though so hopefully in the next few years it will subside but blerg. Add to this the fact that the skin condition I have around my nose (most people don't know about this because it's usually barely visible and I wear lots of make up so I look like a goth clown, I've had it since I was a child and the only way to make it go away it to cover it in horrible cream and I'd rather have a bit of red around my nose because I don't really care about intermittently looking like Rudolf but I do care about putting ALL THE DRUGS on my face) is a bit angry and I don't feel like the prettiest fairy on the tree. Well, maybe still the prettiest fairy, just a bit more red and rough than usual :)
I had a lovely day though despite looking like a snake shedding its skin (just to clarify, I don't look that hideous, as you know I'm damn good at hiding my variety of ailments, it's more I feel like you could grate cheese on my face. I sound so attractive...). I tamed a wild cat who is now my best friend and wrote some letters and ate a lot of things from the sea.
SORRY FOR THE MOANINGS. I promise that my next post will have no moaning whatsoever. And hundreds of fireworks and clowns and spray paint and frogs. Frogs never have dry skin. Must consult one. Maybe I should live in a pond. Pondstanze has quite a ring to it!
Constanze :) xXx
P.s At least none of my face is swollen anymore. VICTORY!
